Family Fun Day update.

The Jungle’s Family Fun Day must now be booked in advance!

Just as change is a necessary part of life, so too is fun!

The Jungle has changed their Family Fun Day event meaning it now MUST be booked in ADVANCE, online at thejungleni.com.

But the Family Fun Day still offers the fantastic fun for which the event is known and loved.

                            Record-breaking Family Fun for all!

Easter Monday 2015 marked the most successful Family Fun Day in Jungle records and while we worked our butts off to deliver our alternative adventure activities and special brand of exceptional customer service, unfortunately, the queues caused some dissatisfaction and disappointment among our treasured customers.

Given that the happiness and satisfaction of all customers is one of our highest priorities (second only to safety) we Jungle folk put our brains into thinking mode. And as the cogs turned an idea was sprung: we would introduce compulsory booking for all Family Fun Day events.

Advance online booking essential!

Advance booking means that we can cap the number of onsite visitors, better manage queues and so improve the onsite flow of customers while providing everyone better access to the best selection of adventure activities in Northern Ireland. This, in turn, will improve the overall enjoyment of each and every visitor to the Family Fun Day. And, it will help parents to better plan their year ahead as we provide a comprehensive list of all Family Fun Day dates in advance at www.thejungleni.com.

Same fantastic activities and the same fantastic value!

The Family Fun Day still offers the same fantastic choice of activities, such as Archery, Body Zorbs, Fun Zorbs, Paintball Target Range, Segways and the Quad Train, to name but a few. Knowing Northern Ireland’s preference for rainy days we offer both indoor and outdoor activities so that fun is guaranteed but getting muddy is optional! With over 15 outdoor pursuits to choose from there is something for everyone from ages 4+.

Activities are just £3 each or 6 for £15!

Family Fun Day activities are offered at the discounted rate of £3 each or a bundle of 6 activities for £15. Book online at www.thejungleni.com. Simply choose the Family Fun Day icon, input your party size and how many activity bundles you would like, enter your payment details in the secure server and hey presto! you’re all set for The Jungle’s Family Fun Day where you can enjoy a unique, value day out with the kids.

Available selected Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays

The Family Fun Day runs from 11am – 4pm on selected Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays, March through September. The next Family Fun Day dates are as follows:  Sunday 7th June, Sunday 5th July, Sunday 2nd August, Sunday 30th August, Monday 31st August and Sunday 6th September.

In your face January!!!

We have escaped – hoorah!

January is no more. Its cold and penniless grip is now but a distant memory as we stand happily on the cusp of a new month. And what a month awaits!

It’s February baby!

Having less than 28 days it is the shortest of all the months but what it lacks in length it makes up for in greatness, offering a bevy of celebratory events such as Canned Food Month, International Friendship Month and National Pet Dental Health Awareness Month.

Tucked quietly among the raucous crowd, is Valentine’s Day.

A day which celebrates affection, love, romance and everything in between. A day which strikes fear in the heart of singletons everywhere and paints smugness on the faces of those happily coupled.

Such smugness exists at The Jungle in the form of our two miniature schnauzers: Alfie and Gypsy. They are indeed a happily coupled pair and seem to have it sussed, daily demonstrating the big spoon-little spoon affect and even finishing each other’s barks.

And, while in a mature relationship of some four human years, or 28 dog years, they still find time to reconnect with their inner pup and spend hours playfully chasing tail throughout The Jungle’s expansive site.

Not only on Valentine’s Day do they demonstrate the meaning of the term puppy love.

Rather, the furry pair provide the perfect example of a happily ever after. An example made better still by the fact that there are to be more mini Alfie and Gypsy’s on the way because Gypsy is preggars! The pups are due mid-February and we are an excited bunch indeed.

We wish you the most happiest of February’s and, regardless of your feelings on the matter of Valentine’s Day, we hope you enjoy the cute pictures of our two loveable scamps – Alfie and Gypsy.

New Year's Resolutions.

It's that time of year again.

A time when you notice the misty-eyed, inspired masses, reflecting and resolving to do things differently. A time when resolutions are made to make changes that will sufficiently mix things in an upward direction.

As is the way - life changing thoughts lead to life changing decisions.

And what could be more life changing than the decision to alter one's marital status. The decision to leave behind the shackles of a singular title and become a married entity, is one which many undertake during the festive season.

In fact, studies show that 20% of all couples who get engaged do so over the Christmas and New Year period. And, just as Santa is setting about the business of toys and all things gift-like, it would appear that questioning menfolk are more inclined to get on bended knee on Christmas Eve.

Indeed there is something to be said about the magic of Christmas.

A magic which goes a long way to explain our latest Jungle adventure, for we are off! Road tripping is the name of the game ... well, the name of part one at least, by the time we reach part two we will certainly mean business: the Professional Games Business.

The Jungle NI has more adventure games and activities than you could shake a stick at!

And so we're off  to Belfast's Wedding Journal Show to get loud, and shout about our fun and fabulous offerings! Our Hen and Stag packages have been reworked and re-packaged offering bolder thrills, bigger laughs and, more importantly, better value.

Come see us at King's Hall Pavilion, this weekend!

If you enjoyed an extra sparkly, festive season and are about to embark on your wedding planning journey, come see us at the Wedding Journal Show this weekend. We'll tell you all about our new Hen and Stag Packages, which start at £40 per person and inspire you with tales of the adventurous life.

For more information on  The Jungle's Hen and Stag Party options visit:  www.thejungleni.com, email: bookings@thejungleni.com or call 028 8674 8881.

The Jungle's top 5 tips to beat the Winter Blues.

In case you haven’t noticed it is Winter! And whether you’re blue from a severe lack of heat and all things sunny and light, or, your cheery disposition tripped and fell into a beastly pothole we, at The Jungle NI, endeavour to assist your plight and so have devised the following Top 5 tips to help you regain your human colouring and climb out of that rut.

1/ Go wild – get outdoors!

The wonders of fresh air have long been extolled and rightly so for the lovely, fresh and crispy air, commonly associated with Winter, effects a fine rouge on the face – that’s rosy red not frosty blue. The combined effect of fresh air and action-packed outdoor adventure, the likes of which is available at The Jungle NI, are sure to colour you human and banish those Winter Blues in no time!

2/ Change your perspective.

Rather than looking at things that make you blue why not cast your eyeballs on happier sights, like this cute lamb for example.

In fact, we reckon that being surrounded by cute and furry animals is what gives Jungle staff that mile in their smile!

3/ Take note from Disney.

Notice, for example, the luscious, flowing locks of Tarzan and his healthy, hearty glow as his flies from tree to tree roaring indifference at the lofty heights and deadly depths to which he might fall. You too could be coloured courageous adventurer; simply book onto The Jungle’s Tarzan Tree Top Adventure Course and put your roar to the test.

4/ Keep your eye on the target.

Setting goals is an essential walking aid on the route to achieving dreams, but in order to survive the dander you’ll need to keep those eyeballs open and focused on your targets. Whether you’re aiming to become Archery champion or a the most feared Paintball fiend around The Jungle NI can offer both activity goal setting assistance and target achievement, all you need to do is book online at thejungleni.com!

Or, failing all of the above…

5/ Roll with it!

And what better way to roll than in Jungle style in a huge inflatable Zorbing ball! An exhilarating high-speed, downhill tumble encased in a hug inflatable sphere is guaranteed to help you out-speed those Winter Blues and sure to put a goofy grin back on your face. Don’t believe us? Then come find out for yourself!
